I want you to live your best life, especially during tough times or when faced with new opportunities and uncertainties. I firmly believe that no-one should be constrained by the past or by self-limiting beliefs.
My journey began in the challenging environment of a council maisonette. My mother was a single parent who was profoundly disabled by a serious illness when I was eight years old. These early experiences instilled in me a lifelong interest in being pragmatic, strategic and robust.
After decades of leadership, researching and commenting on change, I have refined my insights into comprehensive and flexible coaching. I’m very interested in issues of social justice. I coach neurodiverse people as part of my general practice.
I pride myself on embracing challenges—from business transformation to mountain climbing to writing about Franklin Zebb. By undertaking these challenges myself, I have learned about the processes, pitfalls, and fantastic results that people can achieve. My personal experiences and diverse background allow me to guide others through their own journeys with empathy, intelligence and practical wisdom.
Structured
Using techniques from project management, advanced communication and behaviour, I work with you to quickly move to an understanding of the issues and a structured path to results.
Adaptable
Each and every person and issue is unique. I draw upon significant experience of successful strategies for dealing with problems. I understand behaviour and how to work with the specific demands of people to get to goals.
Creative
I am a creative person and use innovative techniques in my work. I encourage and enable other creators as part of my practice. In particular, I develop written and spoken word projects and I’m very interested in using humor to effect change.
